EligibilityWho we can accept, and the checks that come with a payout.
We are not a bank and we hold nobody's money, but we do send money out — and that carries obligations we take seriously.
01Who can open an account
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract where you live.
You must open the account in your own name, as yourself. Accounts opened under another person's identity, or operated on someone else's behalf without telling us, are terminated without refund — this is clause 5.2 of the Terms.
One person, one identity. Buying several evaluations is fine and normal. Presenting yourself as several different people is not.
02Restricted jurisdictions
We cannot provide the service, and cannot send a payout, where doing so would breach sanctions or other applicable law. That includes jurisdictions and individuals subject to comprehensive sanctions under European Union, United Kingdom, United Nations or United States measures.
We ask for your country at registration for exactly this reason. If your country is one we cannot serve, we would rather tell you before you pay than discover it when you ask to be paid — so if you are unsure, ask us first at support@funded-capital.com.
Where we find that an account was opened from a restricted jurisdiction, or under a false country, the account is closed and no payout is made. Sanctions are not something we can make an exception to.
03Identity checks before a payout
No identity check is needed to buy an evaluation or to trade one. It becomes necessary when money leaves in the other direction: before your first payout we verify who you are.
That means a government-issued identity document and confirmation that the name on it matches the name on the payout destination. We will not send a payout to a third party — the person who earned it and the person who receives it have to be the same person.
Send documents only to support@funded-capital.com, in reply to our request. We never ask for identity documents through a chat widget, a social media message, or a link in an unsolicited email. If something claiming to be us asks that way, it is not us.
04What we keep, and what we do not
We record that a check was done, by whom, on what date, the name and date of birth on the document, its type, and enough of a reference to recognise the same document again. We do not keep scans of your passport or ID card on our servers. Holding copies of identity documents is the most damaging thing a data leak can expose, so we hold as few of them as the check allows. The Privacy Policy covers what we do with the rest.
05If we refuse
If we cannot verify you, or cannot lawfully pay you, we tell you and we say why — unless the law prevents us from saying, which happens with sanctions matters. Where we can put it right, we will tell you what is missing rather than leaving you to guess.
